Fabric we use for Cotton Cotton collection
Why we made this?
We want to combine look and feel of high quality cotton with the comfort and sustainability of Sorona® polyester.
The fabric composition of 68% cotton and 32% Sorona® polyester offers numerous benefits for summer clothing, making it an ideal choice for warm-weather attire:
-
Breathability: The blend of cotton and Sorona® polyester allows for excellent air circulation, keeping you cool and dry even on hot, humid days.
-
Moisture-wicking: This fabric composition efficiently wicks away sweat and moisture, ensuring that you stay comfortable and fresh throughout the day.
-
Lightweight and Comfortable: The combination of these materials results in a lightweight, soft fabric that feels smooth and comfortable on the skin, making it perfect for all-day wear.
-
Quick Wrinkle Recovery: The fabric is designed to resist and recover quickly from wrinkles, ensuring that your summer outfits maintain a polished and fresh appearance.
-
Slight Cool Touch: The Q Max Cool Touch of 0.16 provides a slightly cool sensation on the skin, which can be especially refreshing during hot summer days.
-
Stretch and Durability: The blend of cotton and Sorona® polyester offers a light stretch, providing ease of movement and added durability for long-lasting wear.
-
Sustainability: Sorona® polyester is partially plant-based and reduces the environmental impact of the fabric. Compared to nylon, it uses 30% less energy and produces 63% fewer greenhouse gas emissions. This makes it an eco-friendly choice for those who prioritize sustainable fashion.
Sorona® is a high-performance, eco-friendly fiber made from partially plant-based materials, specifically corn glucose. Developed by DuPont™, Sorona® has emerged as a sustainable alternative to traditional petroleum-based fibers like nylon and polyester.
